The older of the redhead twins and the more outspoken. After Akasha becomes a vampire Mekare predicts to Akasha that she will be the cause of Akasha´s downfall. As punishment Akasha has Mekare´s tongue cut out. Mekare is turned into a vampire by Khayman and then turns her sister Maharet into a vampire too. When the twin´s story is appearing to vampires and mortals over the world in dream form it is Mekare that is sending them. She is heading towards fulfilling her prophecy, which she does by pushing Akasha into a glass wall severing her head. Maharet then takes Akasha’s heart and brain giving them to Mekare to consume, in doing this Mekare becomes the new life force of the vampires and is taken into secret hiding for protection. |
