Hi everyone and anyone, I am just wondering if you wolud be so kind as to spear some of their time to tell me what they think about the Anne Rice novels, do you think they contain some kind of truth within them? do you think the vampires are real that are meantioned? please tell me all that you think I am very curious to know.

Nightowl...If there is one thing I learned here it's that everyone here LOVES Anne Rice novels. lol

The book isn't truth. Well some of the stuff is truth, but it's just a book.....But very good books...I like Interview with a Vampire the best.

Anne Rice is a every good writer. But are books fiction. I'm sure she has based the characters from people she has met. However, they are fiction not based off anything real. I would alo suggest you check out the Television and Books section. That is where this thread should be as well.
Yes, I do like the Vampire Chronicles and all the other books she has writen.

The books are good for a nice sit down reading material, seeing as they are long and there ae many, but as far as i now their is very little truth to what the books contain.
Besides, I prefer the movies, they are nicer to look at. Though the books havemore and are much more enjoyable in the long run.

the anne rice novels totaly rock i'm currently reading queen of the damned and i can't put it down. i'm like a anne rice freak i love her books my cousin she's got all of anne rice's vampire chronicals if i get her to register then maybe she'll be able to answer your questions.
but i think the vampires she writes about are inspired by people she's met. i know lestat was inspired by her husband.

She's one of my favourite autors :D
